Supporting Our Community Through Pajama Day

ISS News

The hygiene items collected during Pajama Day were recently delivered to support disadvantaged families from the Ibn Mucana School Group in Alcabideche, reinforcing the importance of solidarity and community engagement.

Members of the ISS Taguspark Recycling Club actively took part in this initiative, accompanying the delivery and witnessing firsthand how their contributions can make a real and meaningful difference. This experience also allowed students to deepen their understanding of social responsibility, sustainability, and the impact of collective action.

By connecting learning with real-world experiences, initiatives like this help students develop empathy, awareness, and a strong sense of active citizenship. They encourage students to look beyond the International Sharing School – Taguspark environment and recognise their role in contributing positively to the wider community.

Moments such as these reflect the values we strive to nurture at International Sharing School – Taguspark — compassion, responsibility, and a commitment to making a difference, both locally and globally.
