Veronika Fitz holds a PhD in Biology, awarded with distinction from the Technical University of Dresden in Germany, and a Diploma in Molecular Biology, also with distinction, from the University of Vienna, Austria. In addition to her academic achievements, she completed a Furniture Intensive program at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Maine, USA, in 2017.

Currently, Veronika is a Laboratory Technician at International Sharing School – Taguspark, a position she has held since 2023. Prior to this, she served as Laboratory Manager at the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência (IGC) in Oeiras, Portugal, from 2021 to 2023.

Veronika Fitz’s early career involved significant research contributions as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Max Planck Institute of Cell Biology and Genetics in Dresden, Germany, from 2015 to 2016, and as a PhD student at the same institute from 2012 to 2015.
