Sofia began her career by completing a professional course in socio-cultural animation, focusing on developing programmes for children with learning challenges at a local association.
She then pursued a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, specialising in cognitive-behavioural aspects, while maintaining a strong interest in neurodiversity and learning challenges.
During her studies, Sofia undertook a professional internship at an Applied Behavioural Analysis clinic, where she later joined the team of therapists. In this role, she managed multiple clinical cases and provided support to students at various international schools in the Lisbon area as a behavioural therapist.
