Silvia Xu holds a Master’s degree in Language Acquisition from the University of Coimbra and was a PhD candidate in Linguistics. With over eight years of teaching experience, Silvia specializes in Chinese Language Acquisition and Language and Literature, having taught across primary, secondary, and university levels. At

ISS, she has worked with PYP, MYP, and DP students, bringing her expertise in linguistics and a multilingual approach to the classroom.

Outside of teaching, Silvia is passionate about harnessing AI to create innovative language-learning tools. She keeps up with the latest tech trends, enjoys attending educational workshops, and is dedicated to crafting engaging language-learning stories that inspire her students.
