Robert grew up in Spain with Welsh and German parents. At 17, he moved to the UK to study modern languages at King’s College London. Since completing university, Robert has lived and worked in France, Brazil, and China. This is now his third year at ISS.

Currently, he is pursuing a master’s degree in International Relations and Political Science at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Robert’s main hobbies include playing football and long-distance cross-country running; he recently completed his fifth marathon.
