Ricardo Calado is a dedicated mathematics educator with over 15 years of experience. He holds a degree in Mathematics and a Master’s Degree in Maths Education from FCT/UNL. Ricardo has taught at the International School of The Hague in the Netherlands before returning to Portugal. He is also an IB Examiner for Mathematics: analysis and approaches at higher level.

Ricardo is passionate about guiding students to discover the beauty, power, and range of mathematics while helping them develop crucial skills for a rapidly changing world, and he believes that high-quality mathematics instruction should be informed by evidence.
