With extensive experience in education and leadership, Paul Shelley has held roles such as Director of Technology and Head of Department. Specialising in Design Technology, Computer Science, and Art & Design, he has experience in teaching students from Kindergarten to Diploma level IB curriculum, emphasising the importance of cross-curricular connections.

His commitment and experience in pastoral care including in the role of Boarding Housemaster, foster a supportive and nurturing environment, promoting positive outcomes for all students. Paul Shelley transitioned into teaching after a career of building submarines.

With a background in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, his industry experience enriches his teaching, providing valuable insights and expertise in his subject areas.
