Marisa Machado graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (1994-1999) and has been a member of the Funchal Regional Council of the Portuguese Lawyers Association since 2000. With extensive experience, she has practised law and advocacy in various Portuguese and foreign companies.

From 2017 to 2021, Marisa served in Political/Public Office, further broadening her understanding of legal frameworks and governance. In 2023, she joined International Sharing School – Taguspark as a Lawyer, where she applies her legal expertise to support the institution’s mission and uphold its values.
