Marco Fernandes holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Arts (Honours) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He has taught Theatre and English at schools in Thailand and South Africa and is now based in Portugal.

With experience in acting, directing, and Physical Theatre, Marco Fernandes applies his creative intellect to help young performers hone their skills, develop a sense of self, and grow their expressive abilities.

He is currently completing his Master’s in Performing Arts at Universidade NOVA de Lisboa and continues to work as a theatre-maker with companies such as The Lisbon Players. Marco is passionate about fostering creativity and confidence in his students, encouraging them to explore their artistic potential.
