Joana holds a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures, specializing in Portuguese and French Studies, as well as a master’s degree and a PhD in Portuguese Literature from the School of Arts and Humanities at the University of Lisbon.

With over 15 years of teaching experience in Portugal, she has worked in various international and national schools, gaining insights into diverse pedagogical approaches.

Passionate about literature, Joana believes that books broaden our horizons and encourage reflection on the world, enabling us to view it from new perspectives. Joana is dedicated to fostering a love for literature in her students, encouraging them to explore and appreciate the richness of language and storytelling.
