Edilson Semedo

School Security

Edilson began his professional career as a warehouse technician, before moving on to work as a telecommunications technician at a Siemens subsidiary in Carnaxide for six years, contributing to projects such as Vila Franca de Xira Hospital and the sound system at Estádio da Luz.

Following a downturn in the telecommunications sector, he decided to retrain in security services. He subsequently worked as a security guard at Santa Maria Hospital and São Francisco Xavier Hospital.

Edilson joined ISS in 2020, where he has been working as a security officer at the primary school since then.

Fun Facts

Edilson was part of the Guinea-Bissau futsal team in 2009, competing in the Lusophone Games and finishing in 4th place. He has a 2-year-old daughter who attends ISS, and every Saturday he plays football with the parents of students and other staff members on the ISS football field.
