Chris Staub

English & Spanish Language Acquisition Teacher

Chris Staub was born in Washington, D.C., and grew up in an environment rich in sports and culture. This background led him to explore various creative endeavors, such as playing the bass guitar, writing poetry and film scripts.

He studied Spanish language and culture, as well as psychology, at Denison University in Granville, Ohio, USA. He later earned a Master’s in Education for Applied Linguistics at Antonio de Nebrija University in Madrid, Spain.

During his time in Madrid, Chris Staub not only earned his degree but also met a remarkably beautiful Spanish woman named Paula, who would later become his wife and the mother of his two children.

Fun Facts

Christopher has been in a film with Keanu Reeves (The Replacements, Dir. Howard Deutch, 2000), often works with people from around the world as an interpreter and translator (having translated a film script for publication two summers ago), and has a strong passion for music, having been a radio DJ for 4 years in Ohio.
