PYP 4 and PYP 5 Students Take Part in “Green My City” Sustainability Challenge

ISS News

Today, our PYP 4 and PYP 5 students took part in “Green My City”, a hands-on sustainability project developed in collaboration with 8 Billion Ideas.

Throughout the day, students explored real environmental challenges, worked in teams and applied design thinking to imagine greener, more sustainable cities.

From brainstorming creative solutions to building prototypes using recycled materials, learners engaged in a dynamic process that encouraged curiosity, collaboration and problem-solving.

This experience offered students the opportunity to connect learning to real-world contexts, empowering them to think critically about the impact of their ideas and actions.

By turning innovation into action, they strengthened their understanding of sustainability and active citizenship within the wider school community.
