The Careers and University Counselling team at International Sharing School – Taguspark provides comprehensive guidance to students on their educational pathways, higher education options and applications to universities worldwide.
Each student, along with their family, receive personalised support tailored to their aspirations, academic performance, and individual goals.
Diploma Programme (DP) students engage in weekly sessions with the counsellor on our campus in Lisbon. They benefit from our university counselling through workshops and guidance on key aspects of the university application process, including applications to different countries, creating a CV, writing a personal statement, letter of motivation, or essay, preparing for admission tests, and building a strong profile for university applications.
Middle Years Programme (MYP) students engage in our university counselling through sessions focused on enhancing their profiles through extracurricular and super-curricular activities, discovering their areas of interest, and selecting the best subjects to pursue their future goals.
In addition to group sessions, the counsellor at ISS Taguspark offers personalised support through regular meetings with both students and families to discuss educational options, refine goals, and explore potential pathways.

Events in Lisbon
Career Events at ISS Taguspark
Every year, we host career events such as the UK University Fair and Career Summit, the largest International University fair in Portugal, providing valuable opportunities for our students. We host over 500 students from International Schools in Portugal, broadening the experience for all involved.
UK University Fair
9th of October 2024
The UK University Fair hosts over 30 UK universities and offers workshops on how to choose a degree, how to write a personal statement, how to settle in the UK after admission, as well as subject-specific workshops.
Career Summit
9th of February 2025
The 2025 Career Summit is hosting the largest International University Fair in Portugal at International Sharing School – Taguspark.
The summit will feature workshops on various topics such as applying to universities in different countries, strategies for building a strong profile and how to choose a career.
The fair will also showcase universities from around the globe.
