Mayara Andrade is passionate about integrating technology into education. She holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Education, focusing on Technology Enhanced Learning and societal challenges. Her research explores the blending of physical and digital spaces in education, along with innovative teaching practices.

Additionally, she has a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages, specializing in Translation Studies.

Mayara Andrade has taught Portuguese as both a mother tongue and a foreign language, as well as English as a second language, to middle school and high school students, as well as adults.

Her research experience includes identifying innovative practices in tertiary education at Portuguese universities, giving her a broad perspective across various education levels.
