Maria Baptista holds a degree in Architecture from the Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade de Lisboa, with additional studies completed at the Università Iuav di Venezia in Italy.

She began her career gaining hands-on experience on construction sites, advancing from inspections to project coordination, and later serving as the manager of a consulting and project management firm from 2014 onward. Driven by a desire to explore a more meaningful path, Maria transitioned into education, where she discovered her true passion.

Today, Maria is the Early Years and PYP Visual Arts teacher at ISS, where she brings her architectural expertise and creative perspective to inspire young learners in the visual arts.
