Mariana Santos holds a degree in English and German Language and Literature. She began her teaching career in 2008, working with both English and Portuguese. Her journey in the IB started in 2010, and she has since accumulated extensive experience in the IB framework.

In addition to her teaching role, she serves as the Mathematics Coordinator and ICT/STEAM Coordinator. These roles allow her to bring creativity and a love for innovative problem-solving.

Before dedicating herself fully to education, Mariana Santos’ love for the sea led her to work as a sailing instructor from a young age. She also explored a career in nautical journalism, where she combined her passion for storytelling with her expertise in maritime topics.
