Maria is a proud Madeiran who has always envisioned making a change in the world. Although she never deeply considered becoming a teacher until the year before university, it quickly became clear that she is happiest when teaching.

Her passion lies in hands-on activities and in connecting learning with students’ everyday lives.

After completing a master’s degree in Education, she had the wonderful opportunity to join the International Sharing School family, which has been a beautiful journey filled with growth, love, and accomplishments.
