Role Overview
As our Marketing Officer – Social Media Manager, you will collaborate with our team to produce fantastic and exciting content for our social media platforms as well as develop and implement social media content strategies. You will be creating compelling content that highlight the unique aspects of our school community, events, and student achievements. We are looking for someone with a creative flair, an open mind, and a passion for learning and development. Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing social media content strategies;
- Creating engaging content;
- Plan and implement marketing initiatives to support student enrolment and brand awareness;
- Manage and create content for the school’s digital channels, including website, social media platforms, newsletters, and email campaigns;
- Coordinate the production of marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, videos and promotional assets;
- Support admissions campaigns, open days, school tours and community events;
- Liaise with internal teams (Admissions, Academic, Leadership) to gather content and align messaging;
- Monitor and report on marketing performance (digital engagement, enquiries, campaign results);
- Support relationships with external partners, suppliers and media when required.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in creating and editing social media content;
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills;
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for visual aesthetics;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English;
- Experience managing social media platforms and digital marketing tools;
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and strong organisational skills;
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
- A collaborative attitude with the confidence to work independently when needed;
- Alignment with the school’s values and a genuine interest in education and community-building;
- Accountability and ownership over projects.
