A Tree Filled with Kindness: Student Reflections from the Junior Building

ISS News

On December 3rd, the Junior Building at International Sharing School – Taguspark was filled with a very special kind of decoration — one made not of ornaments, but of kindness, reflection, and student voice.

As part of their Pastoral activities, students were invited to reflect on what kindness means to them. Through thoughtful conversations and quiet moments of reflection, they wrote heartfelt messages that were then placed on the Junior Building tree. Each message represents a simple yet powerful reminder of how kindness can be expressed through everyday thoughts and actions.

This activity encouraged students to pause, think about others, and recognise the importance of empathy, care, and respect in their daily lives. The messages shared by our students reflect their sincerity and the values we strive to nurture across the International Sharing School – Taguspark Community.

By sharing these words, we celebrate the idea that kindness does not need to be grand or complex. It lives in small gestures, thoughtful choices, and the way we treat one another each day.

As we move through this season, we invite our community to listen to our students’ messages and carry their spirit of kindness with us — in school and beyond.
