Daniela Souza is an English Language and Literature educator with over 21 years of international teaching experience. She holds a BA in Languages with a focus on English Language and Literature, a BA in Education, a postgraduate degree in Brazilian Literature, and a postgraduate degree in Cinema. She completed her Master’s in Literatures, Arts, and Modern Cultures with a specialization in English Studies and is preparing to begin a PhD in Literature, Arts, and Modern Cultures with a focus on English and North American Studies.
Having lived in Vancouver and Toronto as an ESL student, Daniela’s early experiences of language learning across cultures have shaped her approach to teaching. She has taught and led language programs at both MYP and DP levels, emphasising inclusion, curiosity, and creativity. Daniela Souza believes that through books, music, and cinema, we learn not only who we are but also who we might become.
