Originally from Venezuela, Susana Varum holds a degree in Visual Design from IADE, Lisbon, as well as an MSc in Design Management from Salford University, Manchester. She began her professional journey at Euro RSCG – Havas Portugal, first as a graphic designer and later as Design Strategy Coordinator, contributing to the creation of identities such as UEFA Euro 2004. As a co-founder of Growen brand consultancy, she collaborated with multinational companies and government agencies, including BBDO, IPMEI, and AICEP.
Susana Varum’s teaching career began when she was invited to lecture at IADE, but it was only after becoming a parent that her focus shifted more deeply toward education. Since joining International Sharing School – Taguspark in 2018 as a PYP Teaching Assistant, and later as an MYP Design teacher, she has encouraged students to think critically, embrace creative problem-solving, and apply design principles to real-world challenges.
