This programme focuses on developing the child’s soft skills in our various learning spaces, as well as in the outside world
Middle Years Programme
11 — 16 years old
MYP provides a learning framework that encourages students to become critical and reflective thinkers, preparing them for the academic challenges ahead
Diploma Programme
16— 18 years old
At the final stage, the Diploma Programme prepares students to follow their academic journey to higher education with a Certificate that is recognised and valued worldwide.

“We are fortunate to call Lisbon our home and all that it offers for our international school.”
At ISS, our educational approach centres around transforming the learning experience by emphasising dynamic teaching methods and fostering critical thinking, collaboration, and assertive decision-making in an environment designed for creativity and exploration.
We recognised that traditional classroom designs limited student engagement and creativity. To address this, we teamed up with designers, architects, teachers and physiologists to rethink how learning environments can stimulate both students and teachers. We introduced a variety of working areas that accommodate different learning styles, from quiet, focused spaces to lively, collaborative settings.

Multicultural
With over 65 nationalities, our multilingual and multicultural student body embodies the spirit of cultural exchange and global citizenship.
Being multicultural means being inclusive, embracing our differences, enriching ourselves through them, and contributing to a shared identity that celebrates what makes us unique.
Hospitality
Showing generosity and companionship towards fellow students and the surrounding community is a crucial skill for our young learners.
Focusing on hospitality helps emphasize the sense of belonging through empowerment and shared resources, developing a welcoming and inclusive school community.
Care
Caring about oneself, caring about others and caring about the environment. The development of Care can be achieved through hands-on activities such as the looking after other living beings or by cultivating ecosystems, planting and harvesting food responsibly and developing a sustainable mindset.
Most importantly, creating an environment where everyone helps, trusts, and looks after each other, creates confidence and empowers students.
Our beliefs at Sharing School
We believe in Learning through Sharing to build a better future
We inspire and respect each student for their individuality, understanding how they gain confidence and comfort in their learning process, sharing and reinforcing our core values.

“The school is perfect for us and our lifestyle and work. We find it offers the ability and flexibility to adapt to our needs.”
“With these learning environments, I recognise that my students are more able to be themselves, feel relaxed and become open-minded learners.”
